Well I was dueling and I had vanity emptiness on field and then I used dragged down to the grave and me opponent discarded ceruli from my hand.
then since I used dragged down, it goes to grave, so vanity goes too. so can I ss ceruli or does it not work because it got discarded first?

Hmmm very VERY tricky BUT, a spell card resolves and leaves the field AFTER its effect has been completed SO Vanity's Emptiness would still be on the field so that means if ceruli's effect activates after that spell resolves then you're good because Vanity would be gone
